Purification and characterization of novel isoforms of the polyphenol oxidase from Malus domestica fruit pulp.

This study purified and characterized novel polyphenol oxidase (PPO) isoforms from Golden delicious apple pulp. The purified isoforms have optimal pH and temperature, and can oxidize catechol substrate. PPOs are important in various industries and can be used in bioremediation and biosensor development.

Proteomics Analysis of Polyphyllin D-Treated Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Cells Reveal the Anticancer Mechanisms of Polyphyllin D.

Polyphyllin D (PD) from Paris polyphylla herb exhibits anticancer effects in triple-negative breast cancer via apoptosis induction and alterations in spliceosome function. NOMO2/3 may be a potential target of PD. Further validation is required.
