Scientists developed inclusion complexes (ICs) from essential oil (EO) and -caryophyllene (-CAR), which showed significant herbicidal effects on weed species. ICs also protected EO and -CAR from degradation and increased their stability, making them potential candidates for commercial exploration.

Characterization of Portulaca oleracea Whole Plant: Evaluating Antioxidant, Anticancer, Antibacterial, and Antiviral Activities and Application as Quality Enhancer in Yogurt.

Purslane extract was added to yogurt, resulting in enhanced antioxidant, anticancer, antiviral, and antimicrobial properties. It also improved rats' body weight, liver parameters, and kidney function. Additionally, it improved the texture, color, flavor, and microbial content of the yogurt.

Antimicrobial, Antibiofilm, and Anticancer Activities of Syzygium aromaticum Essential Oil Nanoemulsion.
