The sesquiterpenes with the COVID-19 M(pro) inhibitory activity from the Carpesium abrotanoides L.

New compounds, including claroguaiane A, were found in a study on L. plant. These compounds were tested for COVID-19 inhibitory activity, with one showing potent effects (IC value of 16.58 µM) and another showing moderate effects (IC value of 36.81 μM).

Assessment of anticancer, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, anti-obesity and antioxidant activity of Ocimum Basilicum seeds essential oil from Palestine.

This study explored the therapeutic properties of basil seed essential oil, including its antioxidant, anti-obesity, antidiabetic, antibacterial, and cytotoxic activities. It adds to the search for natural compounds for obesity, diabetes, infections, cancer, and oxidative stress.

Effect of madecassoside in reducing oxidative stress and blood glucose in streptozotocin-nicotinamide-induced diabetes in rats.

Madecassoside (MAD) is a compound from Centella asiatica plant. It potentially reduces blood glucose levels in diabetic rats by protecting β-cells.
