Next-generation sequencing reveals altered gene expression and enriched pathways in triple-negative breast cancer cells treated with oleuropein and oleocanthal.

Oleuropein and oleocanthal from extra-virgin olive oil inhibit the growth of triple-negative breast cancer cells. They alter gene expression and affect key pathways involved in cancer progression. Further research could explore their potential as alternative treatments for this aggressive form of breast cancer.

Cell cycle arrest and apoptotic studies of Terminalia chebula against MCF-7 breast cancer cell line: an in vitro and in silico approach.

Terminalia chebula fruit extract (TCF) shows potential as a targeted therapy for breast cancer, with antiproliferative effects and induction of apoptosis. Saccharopine, a phytochemical in TCF, has a higher binding affinity with EGFR. Promising for developing novel anticancer agents from plants.

Effect of heat-clearing and dampness-eliminating Chinese medicine for high-risk cervical cancer papillomavirus infection: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

A study conducted a comprehensive review to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of heat-clearing and dampness-eliminating Chinese medicine (HDCM) for high-risk cervical HPV-infected patients. This information is important for making informed decisions about treating cervical HPV infections using HDCM.

Exploring the Biomedical Applications of Biosynthesized Silver Nanoparticles Using Perilla frutescens Flavonoid Extract: Antibacterial, Antioxidant, and Cell Toxicity Properties against Colon Cancer Cells.

Biomimetic synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using a flavonoid extract as a reducer and capper. PFFE-AgNPs showed cytotoxic effects against cancer cells, inhibition of bacteria, and antioxidant activity. Promising potential for biomedical applications, but further research needed for safety and efficacy.
