Chemical Profiling and Antioxidant and Anti-Amyloid Capacities of Salvia fruticosa Extracts from Greece.

Scientists found that certain fractions of the medicinal plant SF from Greece have significant antioxidant and anti-neurotoxic effects, indicating its potential as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Further study of SF extract partitioning is needed.

Investigating the Therapeutic Potential of Plants and Plant-Based Medicines: Relevance to Antioxidant and Neuroprotective Effects.
