Herbal inclusions ameliorate effect of heat stress on haematology, proinflammatory cytokines, adipokines and oxidative stress of weaned rabbit does in humid tropics.

This study found that including Moringa oleifera, Phyllanthus amarus, and Viscum album leaf meal in the diet of weaned female rabbits can reduce the negative effects of heat stress. These herbal inclusions improve antioxidant activity, lower lipid peroxidation, and suppress inflammation in rabbits.

Anti-inflammatory Effects of Ziziphus Jujube Mill on LPS-induced Acute Lung Injury in Mice.

Z.J extract reduced inflammation in mice with acute lung injury (ALI) caused by LPS. It decreased inflammatory cells, wet-to-dry ratio, lung damage, and TNF-α levels. Z.J could be a potential therapy for ALI.

Aucubin improves chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced depressive behavior in mice via the GR/NF-κB/NLRP3 axis.

The study examined the therapeutic effect of aucubin (AU), the main component of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv (EUO), on depression in mice. AU improved depression-like behavior by promoting intranuclear expression of glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and inhibiting inflammation-driven cell pyroptosis.
