Alkaloids from Zanthoxylum nitidum and their anti-proliferative activity against A549 cells by regulating the EGFR/AKT/mTOR pathway.

Ten alkaloids isolated from showed significant antiproliferative effects against A549 cancer cells. Compound induced cell cycle arrest and inhibited cell migration through the EGFR/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. Potential lead antiproliferative compound in cancer cells.

Anti-Tumor Activity and Mechanism of Silibinin Based on Network Pharmacology and Experimental Verification.

Silibinin, a compound from milk thistle seeds, has anti-tumor effects in adenoid cystic carcinoma cells and mice. It inhibits cell growth, induces apoptosis, and alters protein expression related to cancer pathways. Potential key targets include CASP3, SRC, and JAK. Use of silibinin in cancer treatment is supported.
