Rosemary as a Potential Source of Natural Antioxidants and Anticancer Agents: A Molecular Docking Study.

The compounds CA and RA have potent antioxidant properties and exhibit antitumor effects. CA induces cancer cell death and disrupts mitochondrial function, while RA induces apoptosis and inhibits cell proliferation. Molecular docking analyses suggest these compounds may interact with the cancer-associated protein S100A8.

Mangifera indica L. kernel ethanol extract inhibits cell viability and proliferation with induction of cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in lung cancer cells.

Ethanolic kernel extract showed anti-cancer effects on lung cancer cells, inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. It had higher toxicity on cancer cells compared to normal cells. This extract has potential as a lung cancer treatment due to its ability to selectively kill cancer cells while sparing normal cells.

Sanguinarine chloride induces ferroptosis by regulating ROS/BACH1/HMOX1 signaling pathway in prostate cancer.

Sanguinarine chloride (S.C), a compound found in certain plants, has been shown to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties. Recent research suggests it may induce ferroptosis in some cancers, but more studies are needed to understand the exact mechanism.
