Diabetes Studies

Multiomic study of the protective mechanism of Persicaria capitata (Buch.-Ham. ex D.Don) H.Gross against streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy in Guizhou miniature pigs.

Researchers studied Persicaria capitata as a potential treatment for diabetic nephropathy, a kidney disease associated with diabetes. Important for potential new drug development.
