Exploring the synergistic potential of wild nettle and olive oil: bioactive compounds, antioxidant capacity, and antibacterial properties.

This study found that infusing wild nettle leaves with olive oil enhances its nutritional value and health benefits. The infused oil had high levels of antioxidants, antibacterial properties, and increased zinc and iron content. These findings suggest that nettle-infused olive oil could have novel culinary and health applications.

Sweet potato flour (Ipomoea batatas) as natural antioxidant on carcass yield and meat physicochemical characteristics of Creole chickens of Mexico and Cobb 500.

Sweet potato flour was tested as a natural antioxidant on two types of chickens. Cobb 500 had higher carcass yield, while CChM had higher thigh yield. SPF increased skin yellowness and can be used as a pigment in broiler production.
