In Vitro Assessment of the Antidiabetic and Anti-Inflammatory Potential of Artemisia absinthium, Artemisia vulgaris and Trigonella foenum-graecum Extracts Processed Using Membrane Technologies.

This study analyzed the antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory potential of certain herbs. The extracts from showed high inhibitory activity on α-amylase and LOX, while extracts from showed increased α-amylase inhibition activity and extracts from showed pronounced LOX inhibition activity.

ECHOPvir: A Mixture of Echinacea and Hop Extracts Endowed with Cytoprotective, Immunomodulatory and Antiviral Properties.

Scientists developed a mixture of plant extracts that showed potential in preventing and treating viral respiratory diseases. The mixture exhibited antioxidant, cytoprotective, immunomodulating, and antiviral properties. Activation of Nrf2 may contribute to its cytoprotective effects. Further studies are needed to explore its nutraceutical applications.
