Direct Evidence for Using Coriandrum sativum var. microcarpum Essential Oil to Ameliorate Scopolamine-Induced Memory Impairment and Brain Oxidative Stress in the Zebrafish Model.

This study found that essential oil from [plant name] improves memory and reduces brain oxidative stress in a zebrafish model of cognitive impairment. It suggests the potential use of this essential oil in treating memory deficits and dementia.

Phytochemical Extract from Carica papaya Leaves and Punica granatum Seeds as Therapy Against Cognitive Impairment in a Murine Model.

Scientists identified potential compounds, carpaine and punicalagin, in Carica papaya leaves and Punica granatum, that may improve cognition. These compounds were tested on rats, which showed improved memory and reduced GFAP expression in the hippocampus. Promising candidates for treating MCI and MND. (44 words, 260 characters)

Mixed Medicinal Mushroom Mycelia Attenuates Alzheimer's Disease Pathologies In Vitro and In Vivo.

An extract from mixed medicinal mushroom mycelia was shown to reduce the accumulation of amyloid-β plaques and neuroinflammation in an Alzheimer's disease model. It improved cell viability, reduced oxidative damage, and improved memory function in mice. This suggests that the extract may have potential as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease.

How to sample a seizure plant: the role of the visualization spatial distribution analysis of Lophophora williamsii as an example.

Researchers developed a reliable method using MALDI-MSI to detect and visualize mescaline distribution in succulent plants. Optimal storage and sectioning methods were determined, and favorable MALDI parameters were identified. This information aids in sampling location selection and optimization of storage and preparation conditions for MALDI detection.

Neuroprotective effect of nose-to-brain delivery of Asiatic acid in solid lipid nanoparticles and its mechanisms against memory dysfunction induced by Amyloid Beta(1-42) in mice.

Researchers studied the use of asiatic acid (AA) in solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) delivered through the nose to enhance its penetration in the brain. AA has neuroprotective properties and may be beneficial in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease.
