Wild Rosa roxburghii Tratt Juices Grown at Different Altitudes Regulate Blood Glucose in Type 1 Diabetic Mice via the PI3K/Akt Pathway.

Wild RRT juice from different altitudes improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorders and oxidative damage in type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) mice, possibly due to activation of the PI3K/Akt pathway. The most effective group was medium altitude.

Metabolomics and molecular networking approach for exploring the anti-diabetic activity of medicinal plants.

Researchers analyzed four medicinal plants and found that Plant A's methanol extract was most effective against α-amylase, while Plant B's water fraction showed strong α-glucosidase inhibition. Metabolic profiling revealed 32 secondary metabolites, with 22 tentatively identified.

Protective effects and mechanisms of Momordica charantia polysaccharide on early-stage diabetic retinopathy in type 1 diabetes.

This study found that Momordica charantia polysaccharide (MCP) can potentially prevent and alleviate diabetes mellitus (DM) and diabetic retinopathy (DR) by improving body weight, inflammation, and apoptosis in retinal tissues. MCP may be a promising medication for DM and a natural medicine for DR.
