Neuroprotective effect of Withania somnifera leaves extract nanoemulsion against penconazole-induced neurotoxicity in albino rats via modulating TGF-β1/Smad2 signaling pathway.

Penconazole fungicide leaves harmful residues on crops, causing neurotoxicity. Withania somnifera extract improves brain function. WSLE nanoemulsion enhances blood-brain barrier penetration, reducing neurotoxic effects of Penconazole.

Repurposing non-pharmacological interventions for Alzheimer's disease through link prediction on biomedical literature.

Study developed a framework to extract and represent non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI) information from biomedical literature in a knowledge graph, using various models to repurpose NPIs for Alzheimer's Disease prevention. Identified novel NPI candidates and mechanistic pathways for potential AD prevention.

[Essential oil of Cinnamomum camphora mitigates depression-like behavior in mice by regulating Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and inhibiting inflammatory cytokines].

Cinnamon camphor essential oil may help treat depression by regulating inflammatory pathways in the brain. This study shows it reduced depressive behaviors in mice and lowered cytokine levels. These results support using essential oils for depression treatment.
